This is a crewman's bucket used in the 2001 Russell Crowe high-seas adventure Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. Buckets such as this can be seen in the film as Capt. Jack Aubrey leads his crew in hot pursuit of a French Privateer.

The small bucket is made of wood and has three sturdy metal rings around the perimeter. Additionally, the bucket has a rope handle attached to the bucket as well as the wooden lid. The bucket measures approximately 11" x 10" (28cm x 25cm) and is in good condition.
