This is a brown gun holster used by the Chicago Police at the futuristic action thriller "I, Robot" starring Will Smith and directed by Alex Proyas.
In the film, set in 2035, Will Smith is Detective Del Spooner, called out to investigate the apparent suicide of scientist Dr. Alfred Lanning. Spooner suspects that the death might not be a suicide, but the result of one of the robots he was working on. All robots are programmed by three laws, but Spooner starts to wonder if a robot can in fact feel emotions, and possibly murder. But if Spooner's suspicions are true, he is going to have a hard time convincing everyone. His side arm is used in conjunction with a black holster but his fellow police officers use brown holsters like this one. We can actually see these type of holsters in the Police Station scenes when Will Smith is talking to Lt. Bergin (Chi McBride).
Made of brown leather, it features a "futuristic" cross-device in black plastic on the back and two "futuristic-looking" magazines made of wood painted black. In the reverse side, production tape noted as used by "Mary Jane" may reflect the actual supporting actress we can spot between Will and Chi in the enclosed screenshot. Display bust not included in the sale. Minor scratches present, otherwise in great shape.
