A hero pistol used in the Vin Diesel movie The Chronicles of Riddick. Riddick (Vin Diesel), hidden for five years after the events of the movie Pitch Black, is forced to come out of hiding to fight the villainous Necromongers, and fulfil a dark prophecy in the process.

This hero aluminium pistol shroud matches the type used by the mercs Toombs (Nick Chinlund) and Eve (Christina Cox) and later by Riddick’s lost companion Kyra (Alexa Davalos) as they fight the guards and the Necromongers on Crematoria. The weapon is made from machined aluminium with a rubber pistol grip shroud and would have housed a .38 revolver for use on the production. A replica pistol has been fitted in its place with the rubber pistol grip fitted.

Featuring intentional distressing to make the pistol look used and worn, the interior of the pistol’s barrel shows evidence of having been fired, with some powder residue and scorching from the revolver’s muzzle flare. One of the fascias on the pistol grip has come away during production. Besides this, however, the weapon remains in a very good production-used condition, measuring 29.5cm (11.75”) long.
