Dilios' (David Wenham) Hero Helmet

1025139

SOLD!

A helmet worn in the 2006 graphic novel movie adaptation 300. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, in which 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valour and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against the Persian enemy.

This helmet was worn by the warrior poet Dilios (David Wenham), who fights alongside his king, Leonidas (Gerard Butler) in the pass at Thermopylae until a wound to the eye forces him to retire from the battle. Distressed specifically for the character, the interior of the helmet is marked “Dilios” and “Stage 3”, indicating it should be prepared as though it was at its third stage of battle damage. The hero helmet is made in fibreglass with an array of slashes and fake blood across its surface.

Well used on the production, the helmet remains in an overall very good production-used condition, and is supplied with an original wardrobe label. Item size: 26.0cm x 19.0cm x 29.0cm
