This is the "Metro" remote control used by Marvin (John Gatins) in the 2011 action-drama "Real Steel", starring Hugh Jackman.

Charlie Kenton and his son hijo Max undertake a dizzying race towards success in the clandestine robot fights and "Metro" is the first robot "Atom" (Max's bot) faces. Marvin uses this exact remote control to control his robot in the abandoned Zoo fight.

Built in metal, plastic and other materials, it has been distressed by production to give it a heavy used appearance, dirty and tints of "hand-made" device. We can use such weathering to screenmatch this piece in the hands of the actor, John Gatins, during all the fight. There's a device to keep the remote in the controllers' arm so the other hand remains free to operate the controls (in the form of joystick) and a touch screen (not included) area where production probably placed a tablet device or a chroma effect to introduce CGI on postproduction. The rest of the build is topped by an antena and a joystick-like controller.

The item is in perfect production-used condition, measuring around 20 x 12 inches.
