A prop rubber bat used in the first of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Batman Begins. After losing his parents in a tragic armed robbery, young billionaire Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) turns to a life of vigilantism and becomes the saviour of Gotham City, Batman.

This and others like it were made for the scenes in Bruce Wayne’s (Christian Bale) Batcave. This rubber bat would have been hung from the ceiling of the cave to appear as though real bats were sleeping there. Made of hard rubber with wire attached to the feet, the bat was painted with a brown and black finish to accurately replicate the look of the creature’s fur and skin.

The bat remains in a good production-used condition, with minimal wear from its time in use and time spent in storage, and measures approx 24cm x 12cm (8” x 4”). Comes with a custom built white acrylic display which includes the movie poster and logo along with the descriptive text.
