Louise’s (Susan Sarandon) cowboy hat from the 1991 classic movie Thelma and Louise. The fugitive from the law can be seen wearing this style of hat throughout the movie get gradually more distressed and dirty, and this particular version appears to have been used in final scenes of the movie, when she and Thelma think they have no more options. The hat is made from straw and has a leather thong neck strap, three air holes on either side, and various bends and scuffs across the entire hat. It is missing the leather band from the rim and has suffered some minor wear to the top corner, but is in otherwise great condition with intentional production distressing, sized as a 7 1/4 and has 'Glory' hand written inside, possibly as reference to the scene it was used in when the duo drive dramatically and poignantly off the edge of the cliff. An instantly recognisable piece from the movie.
